With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Virginia Borkowski (Southbury, Connecticut), born in Ansonia, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 23, 2024 at the age of 91. She was predeceased by : her parents, Felix Bygott and Estelle Bygott (Michavoza); her husband Edward J. Borkowski; and her siblings, John P., Walter J. Bygott and Mary Kovaleski.

She is survived by : her sons, Jay Borkowski (Tammy) of Oxford, CT and Karl Borkowski (Kelly) of Byron, Maine; and her grandchildren, Devin Good (Elena) of Chesterbrook, PA, Olivia Good of Royersford, PA, Sydney Borkowski, Sage Borkowski, Quinton Borkowski of Oxford, CT and Arianna Laracuente of Fort Lauderdale, FL..

A Mass was held on Tuesday, May 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Lawrence Church (505 Shelton Ave, Shelton, CT 06484).

In place of flowers, donations can be made to either the Dementia Society of America or the Alzheimer's Association.
