William Smyser Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Smyser and Rita Smyser (Kissane); and his nephew Stephen Paul Smyser. He is survived by: his wife Donna Smyser (DeBacco); his children, Ricky Smyser and Amy Wilder; his siblings, Stephen Smyser (Annette) and Jody Smyser; his brother-in-law Tommy DeBacco (Nanette); and his nephew Michael Smyser (Jennifer). He is also survived by many great nieces, nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Carpino Funeral Home (750 Main St S, Southbury, CT 06488). A reception will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Southbury Food Bank, PO Box 68, Southbury, CT 06488, or to the Southbury Volunteer Fire Department, PO Box 911, Southbury, CT 06488.
