He was predeceased by: his parents, Mickael Obeid and Mariam Obeid (Alahmar); his son-in-law Steven Mathew; and his siblings, Samih and Hilane Obeid.
He is survived by: his wife Khaola Obeid (Alkhalil); his children, Carol Stevens (Jarrett) of Harwinton, Sara Nesheiwat of Cheshire and Feras Obeid (Danijella) of Cheshire; his grandchildren, Grace, Amelia, Clara, Henry, John, Maya, Steven, Anthony, Sophia and Julia; and his siblings, Shehade Obeid of Florida, Nora Sanderre of France, Nahla Farah of Syria and Elie Obeid of Michigan. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family members and friends.
