She was predeceased by: her parents, Jan Palka and Zofia Palka (Maziarz); and her sister Stanislawa (Emil Herdzik). She is survived by: her husband Zbigniew Kusmider; her children, Elizabeth Kusmider and Stanley Kusmider (Joanna); her grandchildren, Ryan, Gavin and Adam Kusmider; and her sister Maria Surowaniec (Jozef). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Duksa Family Funeral Homes (332 Burritt St, New Britain, CT 06053). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 8:45 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (158 Broad St, New Britain, CT 06053).
