David leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. David’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew David will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: parents: Sterling Albert Sr. and Margaret Ann (Skinner) Porter; brothers: Sterling Porter Jr. and Thomas Porter (Connie); sister-in-law: Claudette Porter; predeceased siblings: Barbara Porter, James Porter, and Terry Porter; predeceased sisters-in-law: Leatrice Porter and Ann Porter; nephew: Father James Porter; and several nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the St. Thomas Cemetery (209 Belleview Ave, Southington, CT 06489).
