He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace Dow and Annie Dow (Trafton); his significant other Regina Bartis of Meriden; and his brothers, Dana Dow, Larry Dow and Gerald Dow.
He is survived by: his daughter Tracy Bellman (Dan) of Glastonbury, CT; his grandson Daniel Bellman (Katie); his great grandchild Hudson Bellman of Guilford, CT.; and his stepchildren, Scott Bartis (Nancy) of Tyngsboro, MA, Jason Bartis (Nikki) of Meriden, CT, Robin Hakli of Newville, PA, Christopher Bartis of Stockholm, Dineen Golatto (Belanger) and Scott Belanger. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
