With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Erik R. Kastner of Southington, Connecticut, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was loved and cherished by many people including : his children, Sophie and Chase; his grandfather Ray; his mother Sandi Kastner; his sisters, Jody DiGioia (Joe), Katie Spalter (Mike) and Megan Eruzione (Mike); his aunts and uncles, Harry, David, Sharon, Nancy, June, Jean, Pam, Roseanne, Ruthie, Jack, Billy Kastner, Rick Abecunas and Laurie Lepore; his grandparents, Joan Carlson, Vic Abecunas, Harry and Josephine Kastner; and his former life partner Lucy Sullivan.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Plantsville Funeral Home (975 S Main St, Plantsville, CT 06479). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Faith Living Church (20 Grove St, Plantsville, CT 06479). A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at the South End Cemetery (200 South End Rd, Plantsville, CT 06479).
