He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, S. Harry Wennberg and Hildur Wennberg (Carlson); his spouse Beverly Peterson; his daughter Tracy Somers (Douglas) of Southington; his grandsons, Kyle of Southington and Glen Somers of Southington; his sister-in-law Debbie Peterson of Newington; and his niece Melinda "Mindy" Trentacosta of Cheshire.
