Jane M. White Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jane M. White of Southington, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 4, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lowell Monroe and Ruth Monroe (LeDuc); her husband Bob; her son-in-law Seth Reed; her grandson Christopher Reed; and her brother Bill Monroe.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Barry (Jack) of Bridgewater, NH, Debbie Reed (Paul Johnson), Maggie White of Bristol, CT, Tricia McMahon (Kevin) of Westwood, MA and Tom White of Pensacola, FL; her grandchildren, John (Lexi), Brian (Katie), Conor, Emma, Tim, Katie (Bill), Molly, Sarah, Lily and Bridget; and her sister-in-law Deborah Monroe of Concord, NH. She is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Jane spent countless hours producing beautiful landscapes of scenes throughout New England while also encouraging fellow artists to show their work at one of the galleries she ran up until 2020 when the pandemic forced gallery closure.
