He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Darling and Martha Darling (Klopp); his former wife Gail Darling; his son John Herman Darling; and his brothers, Richard and Paul Darling.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Darling (Vasile); his son Shawn R. Darling (Sandy) of Southington; and his grandchildren, Sean Drzewiecki (Katie) of West Winfield, NY, Darci Drzewiecki (Cedar) of Southington, Benjamin Darling of Southington and Abigail Darling of Southington. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
