It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Gulio Simone of Southington, Connecticut, who passed away on May 26, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dominic Simone and Vincenza Simone (Testa); his spouse Marion Simone (Morse); his significant other Pat DeAngelis; and his siblings, Bobby Simone and Marie Atwater.

He is survived by: his daughters, Tracie Simone of Southington, Shelly Card (Ken) of Silver Springs, Fla., Lisa Simone (Scott) of Plantsville and Debra Simone Cyr (Joe) of Southington; his grandchildren, Melanie Mancarella (Jason), Megan O'Toole (Eric), Jennifer Hanson (Jay), Shannon DiStasio (Jimmy), Theresa Card and Cameron Rhodes; and his great grandchildren, Abigail, Brianna, Louie, Emerson, Carter, Finley, Paisley and Brooks. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
