John J. Slavin Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John J. Slavin of Southington, Connecticut, born in Waterbury, Connecticut, who passed away on September 10, 2021 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his spouse Jean Slavin (Parthenay); and his parents, James Slavin and Alice Slavin (Fox). He is survived by: his sons, John E. Slavin (Maria) of Waterbury and Jeff Slavin (Rose) of Wolcott; his grandchildren, John J, Michael C, Michelle L. James J, Jaclyn R. Neveu, Danielle N. Neveu and Laura R. Denny; and his close friends, Mike, Eric, David and Randy.

Relatives and friends may visit with the Slavin family at Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1987 East Main St Waterbury CT 06705 on Friday morning from 9:30 till the procession leaves for church at 10:30 a. m. We remain concerned about the ongoing pandemic so masks will be required during all indoor services, whether you are vaccinated or not.
