It is with sadness that the passing of Mario J. Ferreri of Southington, Connecticut is shared. Mario, born on January 28, 1935, passed away on August 27, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his spouse Celestina Ferreri (Crupi); his parents, Giuseppe Ferreri and Rosina Ferreri (Costanzo); his siblings, Frank, Albert Ferreri and Helen Salerno (Ferreri); his sibling-in-law Immaculata Ferreri (Figliomeni); his sister Elaine Ferreri (Giddix); and his siblings-in-law, Joseph Crupi (Rosetta (Oppedisano) Crupi), Attilio Crupi (Lina (Commisso) Crupi), Antonio Franco (Ersilia (Crupi)), Franco Stalteri (Rosetta (Crupi)), Paolo, Esterina Salubro (Crupi) and Salvatore Zavaglia (Lina (Crupi)).

He is survived by: his sons, Joseph (Rita (Formica) Ferreri) of Southington and Michael (Cynthia (Morris) Ferreri) of Southington; his grandchildren, Juliana, Mario, Bianca, Kristina and Isabella; his sister Mary Deleo (Ferreri) of Toronto, Canada.; and his sisters-in-law, Lina Zavaglia (Crupi) of Larchmont, NY, Lina Crupi (Commisso) of Harrison, NY, Rosetta Crupi (Oppedisano) of Mamaroneck, NY, Ersilia Franco (Crupi) of Stignano, Italy and Rosetta Stalteri (Crupi) of Siderno. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Della Vecchia Funeral Home (211 N Main St, Southington, CT 06489). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 8:15 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the St. Dominic Church (1050 Flanders Rd, Southington, CT 06489). A burial was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at the Sacred Heart Cemetery (250 Gypsy Ln, Meriden, CT 06450).
