We are sad to announce that on January 17, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Mary J. Meskun (Southington, Connecticut). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Anderson and Helen Anderson (Peterson); her sons, George Hathaway, Jr. and Scott Meskun; her sisters, Patricia, Nancy and Phyllis; and her son-in-law Earl "Bix" Avery.

She is survived by: her children, Joy Hathaway of Plantsville, Robin Avery and Philip Caruso of Prospect; her grandchildren, Risha, Shari, Jason, Jamie, Tara, Samantha, Brett, Alyssa, Ariana, Alea and Lauren (Scott); and her niece Dawn DeSantis (Claudio Mancini). She is also survived by several great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Dawn's rescue, Spotty Dog Rescue (spottydogrescue.org).
