We bid farewell to Mary Maxwell of Southington, Connecticut, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 13, 2025 at the age of 80. Mary touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Cunningham and Elizabeth Cunningham (McBlain). She is survived by: her husband Walter "Scotty" Maxwell; her daughters, Shirley Stearns (Wayne) of Southington, Christine Maxwell (Al Gorobzov) of Southington and Linda Maxwell (Jim Earl) of Southington; her grandchildren, Andrew, Elizabeth, MacKenzie, Melanie, Jake, Katrina, Jessica, Laura and Micala; her great grandchildren, Railynn and Caleb; and her siblings, David Cunningham (June) of Canada, James Cunningham (Debbie) of Canada, George Cunningham (Shirley) of Canada, Jean Cunningham (Bruce) of Canada and Jo-Anne Schiebel (Gerry) of Canada. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Plantsville Funeral Home (975 S Main St, Plantsville, CT 06479). A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location.
