She was predeceased by: her parents, Rudolph Svec and Elizabeth Svec (Troy); her husband Richard Hossan; her daughter Elizabeth Hossan; and her siblings, Ann D'Inzeo, Bernadette Keady and Rudolph Svec.
She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Ellen Michaud (David) of Newington, Patricia Caporale (late Thomas) of Plainville and Kathleen Newhard (Eric) of Wallingford; her grandchildren, Sara (Jordan McBreairty), Annmarie Caporale, Emily Newhard, John (Kassidy Michaud) and Timothy Newhard; and her great grandchild Archer.
