He was predeceased by: his parents, John Joseph and Dahlia Rita DeChesser (Ascare); Danielle Miller. He is survived by: his close friend Faye Bernardi (Johnson) of Plantsville; his siblings, Lawrence DeChesser of North Wilkesboro, NC, Louis DeChesser of Atlanta, GA and Carol Prey of Kissimmee, FL; Rick Bernardi of South Carolina, Debbie Souza (Everett) of Westerly, RI, Lori Miller (Ted) of Plantsville, Rick Bernardi Jr., Joseph Bernardi of South Carolina, Brian Walter, Dale Walter of North Carolina and Ted Miller. He is also survived by several nieces and a nephew.
