He was predeceased by: his father Albert Plourde; his wife Judy (Lowe); and his sisters, Rachel, Joyce and Della.

He is survived by: his sons, Jeffrey (Maryann), Jason (Jonelle), John (Barbara) and Paul Jr. (Susan); his stepdaughters, Pamela, Jennifer and Susan Duncan; and his brother John Plourde (Beverly). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.
