With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Galipault of Southington, Connecticut, born in Waterbury, Connecticut, who passed away on June 6, 2024 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Galipault and Rosemary Galipault (Affe); and his nephew Brian McGovern. He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Galipault (Nitowski); his grandson Derek Voghel; his children, Robert Galipault (Jen), Joseph Galipault, Steven Galipault (Kristen), Christopher Galipault (Jessica) and Nicole Dunn (Ryan); his grandchildren, Faith Savino Rosko (Stephen), Tristan, Gavin Galipault, Harleigh, Nova Dunn, Charlie and Eleanor Galipault; his great grandchildren, Aubrey Savino and Hudson Rosko; his brother Bernard Galipault (Catherine); his sisters-in-law, Rosemary McGovern and Theresa D'Ambrosi; his niece Lindsey Williams; his nephews, Jeffrey Galipault, Michael and Terry McGovern; his former wife Catherine Moore; his mother-in-law Stephanie Nitowski of Naugatuck; and his caregivers, Marnee, Julie, Alicia and Dr. Edmund Caporaso.
