With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Ronald G. Pekrul of Southington, Connecticut, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Ronald left this world on October 17, 2025 at the age of 94, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As Ronald departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Ronald may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Ronald leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gustave Pekrul and Ottilie Pekrul (Dalke); and his stepgrandson David Landfear. He is survived by: his wife Grete Pekrul (Bierer); his children, Mark Pekrul (Laurie), Patricia Van Bronkhorst (Karl) and Janet Upton (Steve); and his stepchildren, John Landfear and Karyn Cisinski. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Bethany Covenant Church (785 Mill St, Berlin, CT 06037). A burial will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at the same location.
