The memory of Walter R. Simcik of Southington, Connecticut, who passed away on September 24, 2025 at the age of 82, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter L. Simcik and Sophie Simcik (Dawidowicz); his brother David; and his brother-in-law Charles Marciano. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Simcik (McKeon); his son Richard (Amanda) of Middletown; his grandchildren, Natalie and Nolan; his sisters, Carol, Patricia, Kathy, Marybeth and Margaret; his sister-in-law Barbara; and his uncle Wally. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home (411 S Main St, New Britain, CT 06051). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Paul Church (485 Alling St, Kensington, CT 06037).
