William G. Van Gorder Obituary
With profound sadness, we say goodbye to William G. Van Gorder of Southington, Connecticut, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alden Gorder and Dorothy Van Gorder (Putney); his son-in-law Brian Goralski; and his sisters, Carol Gosselin and Virginia Desautels.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy (Miner); his daughters, Catharine Goralski of Plantsville and Carrie Calandra (Gabe) of Plantsville; his grandchildren, Maggie Young, Oliver, Kathryn Calandra, Andrew and Jessica Goralski; and his sisters, Lee Cole of Southington and Deanna Tino of Plainville. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Plantsville Funeral Home (975 S Main St, Plantsville, CT 06479). The military honors will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
