Richard P. Dobson Sr. Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard P. Dobson Sr. of Stafford Springs, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 11, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas R. Dobson and Julia Dobson (Fagan); his wife Patricia Dobson (Haggerty); his brothers, Robert, Ronald and Kenneth Dobson; and his sisters-in-law, Jean and Marjorie Dobson.
He is survived by: his children, Catherine Charest (Raymond) of Mont Vernon, NH and Richard P. Dobson, Jr. (Elizabeth) of Stafford Springs, CT; his grandchildren, Julia and Ryan Charest; his stepgrandchildren, Hailey and Nathan Butler; and his siblings-in-law, Shirley Dobson, Mary Haggerty, Dennis and Earla Haggerty. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
