He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Armstrong and Nancy Armstrong (Murphy); his wife Beatrice Armstrong (Randall); and his siblings, Eginora Aekins (Armstrong) and Arthur Armstrong.
He is survived by: his children, Valerie Armstrong, Kimberly Armstrong, John Armstrong (Melanie), Elton Evans (Evelyn) and Carl Williams. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Union Baptist Church (805 Newfield Ave, Stamford, CT 06905-2998). A memorial service was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
