She is survived by: her sister Audrey Murphy; her brother-in-law John of Stamford, CT; her children, Richard Carroll (Dori) of Naples, FL, Kenneth Carroll (Mary Ellen) of Malvern, PA and Barbara Murawski (Joe) of Norwalk, CT; and her grandchildren, Mackenzie, Ryan, Jason, Shane, Kyle, Kelly, Kasey, Michael, Christopher and Sean. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

“I was a childhood friend of Arline (Murphy) Carroll...we grew up in the Bronx going to PS53 together..she was the maid of honor at my wedding. We spent many a good time together as teenagers and young adults..we had lost contact over the years but recently I had have dreams about Arline and thought to check her out on Google, hence I came across her obituary..my deepest sorrow for her family, I will hold her memory very dear in my heart...goodbye dear old friend, we will meet again God willing...”
