He is survived by: his children, Sharon Byrd, Michael Cherry, Ray Cherry, Charles Eric Cherry and Nicholas Spezzano-Cherry; and his in-laws, Nathan, Shirley Wright, Ronnie and Almarie Chalmers. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.
