She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret Mead and George Homer Mead. She is survived by: her husband Steve Hazelton; her children, Kevin Hazelton (Stephanie Mondragon Hazelton) and Courtney Hazelton; her granddaughters, Rowan and Keira Hazelton; and her siblings, Brian Mead (Cathy), Timothy Mead (Patti), Father Gary Mead and Karen Jordan (Christopher). She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to Rosary Hill Home, 600 Linda Avenue, Hawthorne, New York 10532, where the Dominican Sisters of Hawthorne provide free care to those with incurable cancer.
