He was predeceased by: his parents, George R. Sargeant and Della Rash Sargeant; his wife Sandra; and his brother Robert Sargeant. He is survived by: his children, Leslie Maloney of Stamford and Matthew Sargeant (Christine) of Fairfield; his grandchildren, Michael, Jared Maloney, Elizabeth, Caroline and Andrew Sargeant; his sibling's children, Scott Sargeant (Jennifer), Brian Sargeant and Elise Sargeant; and his sister-in-law Mary Carol Campbell.
