He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Bella and Edward E. Bella; his children, Besides and Kevin J. Bella; and his grandson Kevin E. Bella.
He is survived by: his wife Rosemary; his sister Maryanne Quick (Roger) of Florida; his niece Joanne Lopez; his nephews, Edward Bella Jr. and Sean Hartnett (Robin); and his friends, Kenny, Lynn, Willie and Marylee Arnow.
