Franco Gublet Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Franco Gublet of Stamford, Connecticut, who passed away on July 8, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Franco may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Franco touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eduardo Gublet and Giovanna Conte Gublet; and his wife Concetta Malagisi Gublet. He is survived by: his sons, Edward (Mary Ann) of Stamford, Frank (Darlene) of Milford and Tony (Susie) of Los Angeles, CA; and his grandchildren, Kathryn, Jonathan and Luke.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory (104 Myrtle Ave, Stamford, CT 06902). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Sacred Heart RC Church (37 Schuyler Ave, Stamford, CT 06902).
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made in Franco's memory to Saint Jude' Children's Research Hospital.
