Irene Chalikis Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Irene Chalikis of Stamford, Connecticut, born in Newark, New Jersey, who passed away on November 22, 2023 at the age of 100. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Irene Chalikis to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Pelagia Bartis and Fotis Bartis; her husband Constantine Chalikis; and her sisters, Penelope Caruso and Ellie Bartis.

She is survived by: her children, George Chalikis (Thea) and Pamela Poulos (Michael); her grandchildren, George Poulos (Jenna), Dr. Constantine Poulos (Potoula) and Kathryne Shomali (Essam); her great grandchildren, Ryan and Claire; and her sisters, Nefelle Hasiotis and Demetra Bartis. She is also survived by her family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Irene's memory to the Greek Orthodox Church of the Archangels in Stamford, CT.
