He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Eisenberg Vogel; and his parent Lehigh of Vogel's Furs. He is survived by: his children, Karen Vogel Neems (Gary Neems) of Stamford, Connecticut, Gary Vogel (Tamera Vogel) of Yarmouth and Robert Vogel (Sarah Vogel) of Acworth; his grandson Daniel Neems of Evanston, IL; and his children, Peter Neems of San Diego, CA, Matthew Neems of Los Angeles, CA, Ira Vogel of Brookline, MA, Abby Vogel of Oakland, CA, Rebecca Vogel-Waski of Gotham, ME and Margaret Vogel (Maggie) of Ann Arbor, MI. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Temple Beth-El (67 US-206, Hillsborough Township, NJ 08844). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at the Temple Sholom Cemetery. For information about Shiva, please contact the family.
