John Russell Bateman III Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Russell Bateman III (Stamford, Connecticut), born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on October 3, 2020, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father John R. Bateman, Jr.; and his pets, Autumn (Fat Girl) and Mischief (Nut Girl). He is survived by: his friend Valentino Ciccone; his wife Georgette "Jet" Bateman of Stamford; his mother Gaetana Bateman of Norwalk; his siblings, Debra Manfredi of Port Richey, FL, Susan Bateman-Schnegg of Rutland, VT and William "Billy" Bateman (Denise Ek) of Norwalk, CT; his aunt Clara Grimaldi of Brooklyn, NY; and his godchildren, Erin Bateman and Siobhan Lopez. He is also survived by loving in-laws, many cherished nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, church family and amazing friends.

In compliance with state mandates and the safety of all those attending the services, it is mandatory to wear face coverings and maintain social distancing, while attending all funeral services.
