She is survived by: her stepmother Maria Ramos Perez; her children, Adelaida Nieves, Carmen Nieves Perez, Juan Nieves, Miguel Nieves, Monserate Nieves Brinkley and Jason Rosado; and her siblings, Jose Nieves, Manuel Nieves and Lydia Maldonado. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
