Maria C. DeBernardo Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Maria C. DeBernardo (Stamford, Connecticut), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 14, 2025 at the age of 81. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Maria C. DeBernardo to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Giovanni Castrovillari and Anna Castrovillari (Gradilona); her husband Luigi DeBernardo; her daughter Juliette DeBernardo; and her siblings, Silvio, Giuseppe, Antonio, Romilda and Lina.
She is survived by: her children, Carmelina (Edward Misorek) and Gino (Amanda DeBernardo); her grandchildren, Julia, Jessica, Nicolas, Gino and Luca; her great grandchild Oliver Rico; her brother Pietro; and her sister-in-law Filomena Castrovillari. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (37 Schuyler Ave, Stamford, CT 06902).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association in Maria's memory.
