She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Drakeford and Ellen Brown Drakeford; her husband Dr. Michael DuBissette; her sisters, Rozena Jones and Mary Drakeford; her daughters, Linda DuBissette and Faye DuBissette; her nephew Thomas Jones, Jr.; and her niece Lawanda Bridges.

She is survived by: her daughters, Diedra DuBessette, Gloria DuBissette of Washington, DC and Elaine DuBissette; her siblings, Willie Mae Willis, Lucille Drakeford of Stamford, Janie Drakeford, Debra Drakeford, Ernest Drakeford (Alfred Mae), Reverend John Drakeford (Mattie), Paul Drakeford and English Drakeford; and her nieces and nephews, Ernestine Green, Lisa Dixon, Kimberly Mosley, Tarsha Drakeford, Tiffany Drakeford, Dawn Drakeford, Natalea Scott, Makema Davis, Wilson Jordan, Larry Jones, David Jones, Alexander Dixon and English Drakeford, Jr.. She is also survived by many great nieces and nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
