We are sad to announce that, on July 13, 2025, at the age of 99, Melvin L. Rich Sr. (Stamford, Connecticut) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Rich and Juliet Rich (DeMilia); his wife Olga; his brother Alphonse Rich (Sonny); his sister-in-law Ursula Rich (Battinelli); and his niece Denise Rich (Dede).
He is survived by: his children, Mel Rich, Jr. of Greenwich, CT and Larry Rich (Jill) of Stamford, CT; his grandchild Heaven; his children, Colby Rich and Brittany Hill (Charlie Hill); his sister Dorothy Rich; his niece Wendy Rich (Paul); his nephews, Alan, Bobby and George Rich; and his close friends, Larry and Sharon Ruttenberg.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Mel's memory to the veteran's charitable organization of your choice.
