He was predeceased by: his parents, Antoinette Smagowski Johannes and Henry Jacob Johannes; his daughter Susan Miller; and his sister Marie Pearson. He is survived by: his children, William Johannes, Jacob Johannes, Danny Miller, Richard Johannes, Terence Johannes, Mary Johannes, Bridgette Saez, Doraline Miller and Mildred Saez; and his grandchildren, Adrian Young, Larshida Young, Lisa Marie Johannes, Richard Johannes Jr., Jessica Johannes, Terence Johannes Jr., Florinceo Saez, Mariastar Saez, Precious Miller, Consuelo Miller, Yudora Rose, Constance Miller, Bernetha Miller, Staycie Miller, Shawntain Dennis, Michael Bryant and Nicole Bryant. He is also survived by other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Graves Medley Funeral Services (31 Stillwater Ave, Stamford, CT 06902). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
