We are sad to announce that, on January 13, 2023, at the age of 81, Edward E. McDowell of Sterling, Connecticut, born in Bridgeport, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard McDowell and Lillian McDowell; and his brothers, Willard McDowell, Jr., James McDowell and Richard McDowell.

He is survived by: his wife Sally McDowell; his children, Miles McDowell and Molly McDowell; his son-in-law Chris Griffin; his siblings, Donald McDowell of Bridgeport, Michael McDowell (Gabrielle) of Bridgeport, Ellouise McDonald of Stratford, Carol Lockshier of St. Petersburg, FL and Joanne Perkins of Uncasville; and his nephew Timothy Hidu (Dale) of Stratford.
