In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Alan had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Alan may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albin (Hedwig Vaskas) and Russian. He is survived by: his sons, Douglas and Andrew; and his siblings, Albin of Kirkland, Wash., Mary Ann Travis of Southaven and Natalie Johnson of El Paso. He is also survived by her daughter and two sons.
