We bid farewell to Anne C. Connerton of Stonington, Connecticut, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 29, 2025 at the age of 85. Anne touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Vera Vargas Cragan and Henry James Cragan; her husband Captain James Edward Connerton Jr.; and her sister Mary Motherway of Stonington. She is survived by: her daughters, Jane Connerton Connelly (John) of Stonington, Christine "Kiki" Connerton Smith (Dixon) of Annapolis and Mary Connerton Scott (Michael) of Northlake, Texas.; her grandchildren, John Humphrey Connelly III (Samantha), James Edward Connelly (Samantha), Mary Katherine Carara (Matthew), Tucker Lesesne Smith (Tiffany), Zachary James Smith, Cragan Anne Smith, Micaela Scott Lee (Austin), Alexander Michael Scott and Emily Anne Scott; her sister Jane Cragan Duffy of Westwood, Mass.; and her great grandchildren, Bowman Press Smith, Slade James Smith and Anna Belle Connelly.
