She was predeceased by: her parents, Hadley Burnham and Addie Burnham (Crandall); her husband Joseph H. Burgess Jr.; and her children, Audra Shortman, Joe Burgess and Shane Burgess.
She is survived by: her children, Lolita Burgess of Pawcatuck, Debbie Cochran (Dan) of North Stonington, Peter Burgess of Westerly, RI and Todd Burgess (Heather) of California. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
