Gerard J. Carriera Obituary
We announce the death of Gerard J. Carriera (Stonington, Connecticut), who passed away on September 22, 2026, at the age of 90. He was predeceased by: his brother Albert; and his granddaughter Anna. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Emma, Evelyn, Sarah, Christian, Emmett and Siobhan; his great grandchild Ellie; his wife Karen Roden; his sister Paula; and his brother-in-law Jon Paul. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren and great-granddaughter.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Mystic Funeral Home (51 Williams Ave, Mystic, CT 06355). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary Mother of the Redeemer Church (69 Groton Long Point Rd, Groton, CT 06340).
