With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Herbert A. Holmstedt Sr. (Stonington, Connecticut), who passed away on October 17, 2025 at the age of 95. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Herbert A. Holmstedt Sr. to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his wife Anne Holmstedt; and his daughter Heidi Eagle. He is survived by: his children, Herbert Holmstedt Jr. (Renee) of Narragansett, RI, Mary Gardner (Mike) of Boynton Beach, FL, Eric Holmstedt of Warwick, RI and Kirsten Holmstedt of Warwick, RI.. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
A wake was held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Mystic Funeral Home (51 Williams Ave, Mystic, CT 06355). Visitation was held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Rocks (3 Williams Ave, Mystic, CT 06355).
