The passing of Nancy Janice Hoernner of Stonington, Connecticut leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on April 30, 2025 at the age of 69. She was predeceased by: her parents, Nancy (Arthur Haberbush) and NJ; and her brothers, Arthur "Barry" Haberbush and Glenn Haberbush. She is survived by: her husband Mark S. Silvester; her grandchildren, Axel, Alexandra, Larsen and August; and her sister Patricia Kasm. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family invites donations to be made in her memory to The ALS Association.

“In loving memory of Nancy Janice Hoernner, I grew up with your mother, wife, and or gran mom. We were the best of friends when I was 10 till 25. We spent a lot of fun days down the shore in Metedeconk NJ. Janice tried to get me a job in the bond business. She was beautiful and a real blast. I am 69 too. I wish we staid more in touch. She was one of my real friends before the real world hit. Rest in peace old friend. Bobby Caffrey With deepest sympathies.”
