He is survived by: his children, Eldon, Cathy Brierley (Ken) of Mansfield and Andy (Cynthia Thompson) of Maine; his grandchildren, Sara Arteaga (Francisco) of Southbury and Daniel Brierley (Kristen) of Ashford; and his friend Carol Colombo of Storrs.
