She was predeceased by: her mother Zelma Mazjanis; her husband Valdis; her sister Aisma Mazjanis; and her siblings-in-law, John, Charlie Apinis, Patricia and Johnnie Apinis.
She is survived by: her children, Andrew Apinis (Donna), Laura Apinis (Susan Ewart), Ronald Apinis (Robin) and John Apinis (Wendy); her nephews, Erik Apahnis (Jennifer) and Bryan Apinis (Kathryn); her niece Marta Meyers (Adam); her sister-in-law Kathleen Apinis; her grandchildren, Heather, Jason, Evan, Dylan, Brody, Caden and Reese; and her great grandchild Aurora Rodegher.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Potter Funeral Home (456 Jackson St, Willimantic, CT 06226). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the New Willimantic Cemetery (1746 W Main St, Willimantic, CT 06226).
