Ernest A. Wentworth Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of Ernest A. Wentworth of Storrs, Connecticut. Ernest, born on December 26, 1931, passed away on September 30, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbert Wentworth and Avis Wentworth (Charland); his significant other Claire Wentworth (LaChance); and his daughter Louanne Hampton (Wentworth). He is survived by: his son William "Billy" Wentworth; his grandchildren, Estelle Percoski (Jarrod), Richard Edwards (Alyssa) and Jason Carroll; and his great grandchildren, Adam, Spencer Percoski, Cody Helluvitch, Veronica Savage and Owen Carroll. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Ladd-Turkington & Carmon Funeral Home (19 Ellington Ave, Vernon, CT 06066). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Blessed Sacrament Parish - St. Bernard (25 St Bernard's Terrace, Vernon, CT 06066). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 11:15 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
