She was predeceased by: her parents, Wiilaim McDonald and Helen McDonald (Shepler); her daughter Jennifer; and her siblings, Patricia and Joseph.

She is survived by: her husband Stephen Pihonak of Stratford; her children, Stephen Pihonak and Sarah Pihonak (Mike Jacobs); her grandchildren, Stephen Pihonak, Bryan Pihonak, Anthony Pihonak, Riley Pihonak and Karl Jacobs; and her siblings, Kathleen, Elizabeth, Marylou, Sarah, William and Michael. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the William R. McDonald Funeral Home (2591 Main St, Stratford, CT 06615). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
