It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barbara Ann Tschopp (Stratford, Connecticut), born in Allentown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 10, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Paul Fritz and Naomi Fritz; and her siblings, Eleanor, Caroline and Paul.
She is survived by : her husband Elwood R Tschopp (Woody); her daughters, Debbie Buckett of Norwalk, CT and Patty Woodroof (Richard) of Charleston; her grandchildren, Jessica Buckett (Brent Morris), Stephen Buckett (Melissa) and Janine Dubois (Jared Kromer); and her great grandchild Tillie Buckett. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 4th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Stratford United Methodist Church (2600 Main St, Stratford, CT 06615). Barbara and Woody were members of the Stratford United Methodist Church for over 40 years where they enjoyed volunteering and going to church every Sunday, until COVID when they continued watching the weekly services on the livestream.
